An 11-year-old Hope Mills boy died on an ATV about 7:30 p.m. last night.
Ayed Alsaiti was in the passenger seat when the driver lost control. The driver was also a child, but police are not yet releasing the age.
Alsaiti was not wearing a helmet.
In North Carolina, you must be at least 12 to drive an ATV.
